It is the custom to have a gift exchange so we decided to have a white elephant gift exchange. Not sure where the name white elephant came from or why, because who would want a big white elephant as a gift!! Anyways So the gifts were all meaningful and very thought out!!!
The kids, well they didn't quite get this gift exchange. Look at Jevon, well Talise snuck one of his football's to wrap. When he opened it, he was so sad at the very idea that his parents would even think of giving his football away. It took him quite awhile before he was happy again. Sorry about that!!!
Then oh yes, well for my birthday, Darren gave me a lovely plastic broken hub cap, because my lovely granny car (ANYONE WANT MY COOL CAR? ITS FOR SALE ITS FAST) is always losing a hub cap. Well Deven was the recipient of that special gift. Beware the hubcap may show up again next year.
Then a picture was taken off of Phonasa's wall. Krista was sure that one of her boys broke it by throwing a football. She thought Chin knew about it. The picture is priceless. There it is, all safe and sound. Chin asked why we didn't take her Twilight series book so they could get something done. lol. Well I'm happy to say, she finished the series and is in full swing again with LIFE!
So Happy 2010 Everyone! I say BRING IT ON!!!!!!! Yipee
My brother suggested we do one this year, so we did. There were some fantastic gifts because my sister bought and old home and some antique gadgets came along with it. Love reading the posts!
