This year we had the opportunity to go to Omaha for a Baseball Tournament for Josh's team. It was during the same time as the College World Series Tournament. Josh's Team won their pod, and lost the game in the semi-finals. 48 teams were involved in the tournament. We went to the zoo, the Winter Quarters LDS Temple, Elkhorn, Iowa (where a Danish windmill was brought there) We had authentic Danish food. It rained and rained that day, all games were cancelled due to the game. We went on a railroad museum tour, we saw old college friends, and met the missionaries there. It was fun to meet them. It was full of fun, and adventure. If you come with us, we'll find all the historical sites there is to find, We now feel very like we know a little bit more about Nebraska and Iowa. The humidity wasn't so bad, since we're used to dumping lotion on us constantly it was nice to feel some moisture in our skin. lol.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I love all the pictures and really enjoyed the letter from Elder Hatfield. Thanks for sharing that.
